The CUTERA excel HRTM offers continuous sapphire contact cooling for maximum patient comfort.
Cynosure ICONTM: combination unit offers both an intense pulse light (IPL) ideal for hair removal for clients with Fitzpatrick scale skin type I - III (Ivory, Pale & Fair - Caucasian) and a Nd:YAG laser, ideal for clients with Fitzpatrick scale skin type I - VI (tanned skin & darker skin types : Asian, European, Indian and African). Cynosure ICONTM provides advanced continuous contact cooling for maximum patient comfort.

To prepare for your laser hair removal treatment, shower to remove all fragrances, creams, serums and lotions. Shave (Don’t Wax) your treatment area within 24 hour of your schedule appointment time.

Though there is some pain, it's often less than people imagine. The treatment targets your hair follicles with a very hot laser, but you won't feel this heat or any burning. Instead, you might feel a sensation similar to having an elastic band snapped against your skin.

To avoid possible side effects, all patients need to protect their skin from the sun. After laser hair removal, you should:
• Avoid direct sunlight on your treatment area
• Not use a tanning bed, sun lamp, or any other indoor tanning equipment
• Follow your after-care instructions
You will see some redness and swelling after treatment. This often looks like a mild sunburn. Applying a cool compress can help reduce your discomfort.

No, laser hair removal generally does not require any real downtime. Immediately after having laser hair removal, your treated skin will be red and possibly swollen. Despite this, most people return to their everyday activities immediately.
