Yes.....At Beverly Beach Spa & Tanning, we offer hair removal using an IPL system for skin types I - III and a high-powered Alexandrite along with a long-pulse Nd:YAG for skin types I - VI. Even people with tanned skin can safely receive laser hair removal treatments!

Laser hair removal is not suitable for anyone that is:

Pregnant

Taking certain medications (Accutane)

Have genital herpes (HSV-2) or are prone to cold sores or fever blisters

History of keloid scarring

Skin cancer

To prepare for your laser hair removal treatment, shower to remove all fragrances, creams, serums and lotions. Shave (Don’t Wax) your treatment area within 24 hour of your schedule appointment time.

Though there is some pain, it's often less than people imagine. Laser hair removal targets your hair follicles with a very hot laser, but you won't feel this heat or any burning. Instead, you might feel a sensation similar to having an elastic band snapped against your skin.

To avoid possible side effects, all patients need to protect their skin from the sun. After laser hair removal, you should:

• Not use a tanning bed, sun lamp, or any other indoor tanning equipment

• Follow your after-care instructions
