BTL Exilis Ultra 360TM
The desire to tighten loose skin without the scalpel has an irresistible appeal. There are many causes of lax skin around the face and on the body. It may be the result of weight loss or pregnancy. Often it occurs as a natural part of the ageing process.
BTL Exilis ULTRA 360TM is a state of the art, non-invasive elite device used for body and face sculpting, fat removal, wrinkle reduction and skin tightening. BTL Exilis ULTRA 360TM is the only device to simultaneously combine the use of radio frequency and ultrasound to target common areas of the body and face that are prone to accumulating fat or developing skin laxity.
Controlled heating and cooling ensure that energy is delivered to various depths in the tissue. By combining energies, the delivered therapy is safer and more comfortable with consistent results for a wide variety of areas on the body and face.
BTL Exilis ULTRA 360TM is a great option for patients looking for a proven nonsurgical procedure for body and face shaping, tightening or lifting and overall skin rejuvenation. Results can often be seen and felt after the first treatment, and they continue to improve with each additional session. Normal activities can be resumed immediately. The duration of the procedure normally depends on the size of the area being treated. Treatment times range from 30 minutes up to one hour or more for extensive body areas.
-
You may notice some pinkness or redness to the skin (erythema) immediately following the treatment but this typically subsides within 15-30 minutes. The skin may be slightly tender to the touch for a short time following the procedure. Very rare risks reported include numbness, swelling (oedema), blistering, scarring, allergic reactions and nausea.

Four treatments at weekly intervals are usually recommended for the face and body although more treatments can be administered if required. The content of the fat cell, which is primarily composed of triglycerides, is released into the interstitial space. Triglycerides are metabolized (broken down) by Lipase enzymes into glycerol and free fatty acids (FFA). Glycerol, being water soluble, gets absorbs and transported via the venous system. FFAs bind to albumin (proteins) and are transported to the liver where it is used for energy. The liver processes the fat metabolites the same way it processes digested food. The lymphatic system absorbs and filters the interstitial fluid and returns the lymph fluid to the venous system.
